About Us

The Virginia Commonwealth University Service-Learning Program Office operates from within the Division of Community Engagement and is located at 901 West Franklin Street in Ginter House on the Monroe Park Campus. The program offers resources and support services to faculty members, students and community members who are collaborating to combine academic course work with off-campus experiences that meet community needs. Each year, approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students in more than 120 designated service-learning classes receive academic credit for applying what they are learning in the classroom to help improve local, regional and international communities.
